Meandering

Spring 2012 - New York

For my friend Monica's birthday in April, a bunch of us went into NY for the day. We spent the day meandering through a flea market, down the High Line, and eventually to an all you can eat Sushi restaurant. It was a Successful day.

ps. Until I have caught up with my posts, I'm posting every weekday. Let's see if I can get there!

The Cloisters

Spring 2012 - The Bronx

Last Spring I was taking a class called Art and the Sacred in Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages. Or Art and the Sacred for short(er). Seeing as though I went to school just outside of New York, we were lucky enough to go on a field trip to The Cloisters. If you ever have the opportunity to go, go.
These photos are from the largest cloister - I couldn't get enough of the capitals, but I suppose that's the point!

Speakeasy You Say?

Fall 2011 - Sarah Lawrence

My friend Lauren (her blog here), pictured in the first and third photo, loves throwing parties. In fact, she threw the Halloween party in my previous post! In November, she decided to host a Speakeasy. Lauren is the queen of hosting all things themed, especially if they took place in a different decade. We all dressed accordingly.

Hallowe'en

Fall 2011 - Sarah Lawrence

Hallowe'en is always a good time to bust out the black and white.
My friend Lauren decided we should have a Hallowe'en party, so we put on our costumes, and made alcoholic gummy worms.

ps. Eek! Onto Fall 2011... I may just be getting somewhere!
(pps. My friend Hailey (bottom photo) was kind enough to feature this photo on her website - http://www.haileybachrach.com/index.html)
